If we got there for 10 in the morning I reckon it would be finished by mid afternoon if there was enough people....?

1- Finish fitting drive shafts & tighen flange nuts & large collar nuts
oh dear we have a way to go don't we...
2- Re-fit ARB drop links after I bodged it with bolts which are far too long
they'll be fine!
3- General check of tightness of any nuts I have had undone
why? if it falls off it goes faster?
4- Fit replacement brake fluid reservoir, fill & bleed full system (rear calipers could need a rebuild/free off)
oh dear I'll bring some calipers up then.
5- Fit new rear top mounts (not essential as will be getting some new rear shocks soon)
20 minutes!!
6- fit gearbox mount
easy peasy lemon squeezy...
7- fit prop
sigh..
8- get engine sat on mounts properly as driver side is out and not sitting on subframe properly after pishing about trying to fit S50 manifold
we'll make mince meat of that!
9- fit nuts & bolts to modified steering column UJ
buzz gun?
10 - fit clutch master cylinder & plumb in new flexi pipe etc
30 mins to put slave on, 5 mintes to plumb it!
11- fit gearlever mechanism
bish, bosh, bash.
12- re-attach handbrake cables and fix/find handbrake light switch
wtf? shouldnt this come before prop?
13- check issue with brake pushrod mechanism as feels like it gets stiff and then lets go (maybe something to do with the clio servo or my ham fisted adjustment of bar
it'll be fine on the road it's called character
14 - re-fit interior
it's only 3 bolts.. dont want some houndstooth sports do you??
15 - fit ECU under dash (but hole in bulkhead isn't big enough to fit ECU plug through)
oh it is
16- try to find a way of mating 325 2 piece system to S50 cross-over pipe (welding needed)
I can "weld"
17 - I may throw caution to the wind and get a new fuel tank
what? it's already an epic!! lol
18- general check over car in anticipation of getting an MOT in due course (after VIC check)
is there anything you havn't touched?
19- Fill cooling system and check for leaks
I bet the hoses for the heater leak
20- Fit E34 throttle cable
oh dear..
21- laugh at the rust & general tramp theme
If we compare it to mine I won't be laughing
Just helping to break the back of that lot and even get 50% done would be a massive step forwards.
This missus will feed us like utter pigs and says we are all utterly sad deluded individuals

Lee,you mention PAS location,I fitted mine,as you can see here, behind the n/s headlights. That's the one off the E34,because the bracket was a more suitable shape.Thinking about it( dangerous),the container(I cannot spell reservior)is only mounted on the n/s to suit the original LHD instalation..the pipes run under the sump alongside the rack on RHD.If I were to do this again I would look at fitting the PAS thingy on the o/s inner wing, behind the washer bottle and above the exhaust.I reckon it would be quite easy to get suitable pipes made up to suit this.Other point is how are you switching your electric fan? I used the E34 radiator(non air con) and have made up a fitting from a bit of surplus exhaust pipe and a nut to fit my switch into the top hose.Top hose is 42mm internal diameter BTW,I found that the E34 one did not fit comfortably, went to a friendly motor factor mid-afternoon when they were not busy and got the guy to search his stock for a pipe of the correct ID with a sharp right angle bend, sliced this to fit either side of the thermo switch.Thermo switch was from GSF,ask them for an air con fan switch! E34 rad. is about half an inch taller than standard M20,I needed to weld a pair of 'ears' to the slam panel to extend the top mounting bracket holes.Lower rad mounting is two small plastic feet,E30 uses one small one and one large one,so does E34,so I had to mix and match from both instalations.Hope this helps when you are sorcing bits for your 'zone meet',not too sure if I have time to make the big day!
