Have spoken to a couple of folks who are well up for a meet with a bit of winter karting involved too.

We did this about 4 years ago and was ace fun. - Turn up on a Sunday, race for an hour, go get food and a pint...

Karting circuit is in Middlesbrough, easy to Google if you want all the details before I post them.

Please register interest, you don't have to ride, you can watch with the other girls and just join in for food and beer. - Going to try and get all the old school crew back as well as all the new guys from the region that haven't made it to meets yet.

Names below please.

I won't actually be racing. - I get motion sickness after about 20 laps and pit to throw up.

We do have some experts regionally though. :)

Worked out between £35 and £40 last time I was there, that's for the Iron-Man session. - 10 minute warmup and practice, 10 minute qualifying, 40 minute race...

Doesn't sound like a lot, but well worth it and you'll be knackered afterwards!

We can do a LOT better than 5 people interested though, spread the word.

It's a long trek but it would be worth it to beat all your asses :)

Warden or Teesside is fine.

Any of you guys doing the LeMans 24hr (karting)??

I've done a bit of club100 and and amongst other things I've done the LeMans 24 (pro-kart) for the last 6 years - this year makes 7.

Still - there's only one way to settle it!

I think to make it fair we need to ballast up th karts so we are all at the same weight, otherwise all the skinny short-arses will win :D

trust me, it wouldn't :o

and if i wanted to loose weight, shedding my clothing is the last thing i would think of, a diet would be much more beneficial :D

We'd happily come for a chuckle. Despite my ace driving skills, I am carrying too much beer belly to get a good start of the start line.

Let us know the date etc :D

I'm thinking end of March, after pay day for most folks, won't be quite as chilly, and plenty of notice for everyone. Only 6 weeks away really!
