you need to run the amp of your battery or you could blow your head unit.

I would get another amp and run the speakers off that for maximum output

several points to note here.
firstly what car is it? is the battery in the boot? What is the amp power rating (the RMS power not peak power). How many RCA outputs does the head unit have?
personally i would not bother with two subs, i would bridge two channels onto one sub, and run the other channels for each parcel shelf speaker, but this wouls require a head unit with a sub output and a rear channel output, do you have this??
and finally you must consider the fuse, you must put an inline fuse as close to the battery as possible, the fuse should be rated to run the amp and no more. if you dont understand what i mean tell me, answer the above questions and i will work it out for you. Failure to do this part right could result in an expensive BBQ evening.

going off his user name its a 316 so batt up front, Peak Power Means Nothing. RMS is the Real Power the Item can take. and running a 4 ch for 2 subs and 2 rear spk's is not a good idea. Bridge the amp to give you 2 ch's and runs the subs off this and then get a small amp around 150 rms to run the rear speakers, it will sound alot better.

Worthing noting as well to run the Phono cables and the power cable along opposite sides of each other otherwise you'll get interfearence.

Can you run the RCS and the remote wire together?

as sati says, if you use a good quality RCA lead it is shielded anyway so even running the power leads alongside the RCA leads will not cause a problem, provided you have a good ground connection on both the headunit and amp (this is where the shileded leads gets its ground from) plus BMW's do not have such noisy charging systems anyway, if you were installing such a set up in an old mini for example then you would get noise from the power leads.
as for the remote wire that is only a voltage signal so even with cheapo RCA leads you could run it alongside the RCA lead with no issues
