Hi guys

Wanted to remove the water pump today but could'nt
Get the fan assy off!!!! :x
How do you undo the 32mm nut with out the pulley moving :cry: !!!!!
(i now you have to turn it clockwise to undo)

Hit/tap the spanner with a hammer.

You should be able to 'shock' it undone by hiting the spanner with a hammer,unless its been thread locked

To stop the thing from turning as you belt it with your Birmingham spanner,put an old drive belt around the pulley twisting it tight with a short bar(screwdriver)to wedge it.
