The FSE boost valves only work if you have engine mods and require more fuel. Hence the reason I have one on my 2.7.

They work by increasing the fuel pressure at high engine loads/full throttle, a standard 325i pressure regulator runs @ 2.5 bar at idle increasing with load up to 3 bar at full throttle.

They are fully adjustable and I have mine set up to 2.8 bar @ idle rising to 3.8 bar @ full throttle (enough pressure for around 250 bhp).

Only buy one if your 325i makes more than 200 bhp as the standard injectors at standard pressure are good for around 215bhp.

Cheers,

you are wrong Templ8e30

the stock injectors on a 325i run at 3.0bar over the manifold at all times,

i.e the final pressure will always be 3.0bar as the fpr adjusts itself as required to maintain 3.0bar ,.

you see at idle vacuum is 1bar, so only 2bar fp ir required to build 3bar over the manifold,

anyway stock fuel pressure and stock injectors should run out at around 180hp.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Stock fuel pressure and injectors were used on the Alpina c2 2.7 and that had around 215 bhp so :P

You do not need the FSE dude, save your Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£

you have the BBTB and intake sorted so all you need now is the fuelling sorted properly accross the rev range, chip it and enjoy M8, the FSE will just dump more fuel in when you slam the pedal open, the result will be LESS performance coz she is drowning in fuel
