Thanks

Purely by coincidence I was collecting a couple a parts from my local BMW garage this afternoon and asked them for printouts for the 2 tourings I have . . .

Interesting that the silver one in my sig pic must have had a personal plate and then re-issued an age related plate when it was taken off as the car has a different plate on now to the form !

It came originally with

401) Electric sliding roof

219) Sports steering wheel

410) Front electric windows

500) Headlight wash wipe

681) Special - Crimson leather (Yuk !)

850) Additional fuel ( Wooppeeeeee)

413) Dividing Net-rear (?)

215) PAS

510) Interior headlights adjuster

812) GB Specification

925) AG transit protection

The other one I've just bought is Malachite green and has the same spec including the Special Crimson leather (still YUK !) plus

288) Cross spoke alloys 7jx15

428) Triangle+first aid kit

Its great to see how the cars were originally specced . . .

Out of interest, what did the GB spec include ? . . .
I reject your idea of reality and replace it with my own ;-) . . .

I think the GB spec is basically a rust - attracting formula that tyrolean elves were employed to smear all over otherwise solid cars winkeye

The crimson leather doesn't mean it had crimson leather. Its some kind of anomly with their system.

Red leather, crimson or cardinal wasn't available on tourings.

I did wonder, It seemed strange that 2 different coloured cars had the same bizarre coloured interiors ! . . .

Any idea what was included in the GB spec ? ? ? . . . Was that just the right hand drive thing ? ? ? . . .

I always ask the guys at David Holmes BMW in Stockport about the original spec - takes them a few seconds and they don't mind giving me the printout :D
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....
