Here is the translation of the advert from my friend. He's not so familiar with some of the technical terms but you might find it useful. :D

Original E30 M3 wih Alpina 3.5l G-Kat conversion [catalytic converter?] (6 Cylinder)

Entered in the registration document as Alpina-Motor Type 6 (a 6 digit Aplina number is etched on the cylinder head)

The vehicle was imported from Italy in 2000 and has since then only been registered on a HALTER?.
The converson occurred in 2003 and registered
Max registered speed limit 246 km/h
G-Kat Euro 1 ”“ gree environment placard
The leather fittings are new and in top A1 condition
On board computer
Electric windows
Electric sunroof

The vehicle is a used car with signs of wear and tear (corrosion on the rear wheel arches, underfloor). Therefore sale expressly only after viewing.

You can also call me on 0049 177- 8479094 [Rob ”“ this is a German mobile number)

Vehicle must be collected within 7 days and be paid for in CASH.

As this is a private auction any claims liability arising by guarantee and warranty as well any right of withdrawal is excluded.

Return likewise excluded!

Look at the 30-50 times. Also another thing to note according to that, the sport evo weighs an extra 8lb! Not alot granted but you would think the "Boat anchor" B6S would be heavier?

Doesn't the Evo 3 have thiner glass and thinner boot plastics as well?

Oh yes, it sounds awesome! I think the M88/1 in race spec had slide throttle injection, possibly Kugelficher.

Good lordy lord, they really do sound amazing.

I'm going to make up a couple of 90 degree bends and fit them to the downpipes of the manifold on my m5 engine so they work as a side exit exhaust, just to hear what sort of noise it makes.

You probably need to increase the rev limit by a couple of thousand too! 8O

It probably wouldn't be far off then, sadly that would cost 10's of thousands I suspect. :( Unless that Joshy kid has a cheap fix?

well since we'er talking about big six in bmws. might as well make it in a e30. first 2 clips are with m5 carbon airbox. just found these vids on you tube.
Also the e46 csl with straight pipes sounds like the old Audi quattro group b rally car.

i deliberately put the in-gear times to show where torque comes in to play but you don't race in top or 4th gear 30-50mph...... S14 30-50mph 2.5s thru gears B6S 2.6s so the M3 makes up for most of power and torque deficit with shorter gearing (torque multiplication) and higher redline.

those are test weights (crew + equipment) the unladed weights below

M3 2626lbs
B6S 2920lbs
E30 325is with M20B31
