True mate, I've been to the skips for my old man a few times. I like the space (but didn't like the unpredictable sideways handling in the snow today heheh)blackcountrybimmerman wrote:That is a nice looking touring.
I like tourers/estates anyway, my other car is an estate.
Very useful tools.

In these conditions everything on wheels is unpredictable...
My FWD was a little bit unruly to say the least.

I'm waiting to hear too, but with how the weather has been I'd assume he'll wait until the weekend. I'm sure he'll update us as soon as he's been to see the chap at the pub....

Yeah i've seen them. Interesting project. Looks a bit battered at the moment but with some inspiration (and money
) i reckon it will look very nice. Plus with that 'Big 6' in the front, it's gonna fly
. Did you not think of doing a different engine conversion M50/M52?

Should be, i was on the e21 forum earlier and one of the guys has a m20b25 conversion and hits 60 in around 6.5secs, so this should be a monster with the right gearing.Loads of investigating to do to find out whats needed.

I'm assuming start to finish. Went round to see inital_g's track car and he was telling me. I think it's MJG on here (the guy with the banged out track car). Gonna try contacting him and see what he says. What diff have you got? Powerflex bushes?

Diff is a 3.46, best suited as its close to the e34 diff ratio and will work good with the e34 g/box, and I polyflexed all my bushes, whole set front and rear will knock you back about £250.00
