That's the problem with kits, horrors underneath them 8O . I'm having second thought's about putting a Tech II kit on mine

Use the money on getting a Ford Cologne V6 in there.

Sort of a test.


Cologne V6 - 160bhp from a 2.8
BMW M30 I6 - 181bhp from a 2.8

The Cologne is easier to get big power from if you're serious about tuning though.

rikster, lovin your motor. defo makes me think that if i didnt get me borbets i would be going down the bbs route. tech 2 with wide dished wheels are the best looking imo.

The 5.7 litre Ford V8 of the era produces as much power as the 2.8 M30 I6. What do they do with the other three litres? Now that's a shit engine.

i removed my kit over the christmas holidays to find nothing but white paint and a couple of very minor surface rust spots that rubbed off with a wire brush.and on a scottish car to. dont believe all the old wives tales you read on here :D
