Also, I will be in the car giving tuition and making sure the driver is not being silly.
That's what logic would dictate, but as I said it wasn't my experience when I tried to do it. Worth 2 mins and a 10p phone call to check. If the company you're thinking of are good with it, let me know please as its something I'd definitely pick up again.

Cheers, good luck
Brian

No problem Brian.

Its just like someone using their mates car really so dont see a problem with it tbh. Insurance on the track is only really viable for expensive cars due to the massive excess involved. And £199 is a small price to pay for a whole day of fun :)
These so-called speed bumps are a joke. If anything, they slow you down! :-x

Their issue was public liability insurance not car damage, their point of view was if somebody was hiring my car and I was giving tuition, then I was responsible for them. So if the driver (for example) gets all excited coming into the pits after his first session and stands on the throttle instead of the brake plowing into the queue for the burger van, they would be claiming off my insurance not their own. Mebbe just best to keep quiet about any commercial arrangement, let people book the day, turn up and drive :D . If you are delivering the car to the track and covering wear and tear and expenses for £200, that is an incredibly cheap deal.
