Have any of you s50 converters fitted a s54 plenum instead of original s50 ,It looks a little more compact as it goes on to the ITB,s directly .

Plenums and runners are designed carefully for the specific engine, you could lose a lot of performance messing with it..

Not even sure it would fit.. It might I guess

Yes I would be very nervous of messing up runner lengths and plenum size but figured s54 is the same cc and an evolution of the s50 so hopefully the plenum should suit . It will not fit straight on thats for sure , but that wouldnt worry me .
I am not that keen on moving the servo and even more nervous of choping into the s50 plenum that cant help the tuning .

I could be wrong here but I believe by the look of the s54 plenum it acts like a termination box on an exhaust system , As in the runners are tuned to a certain length and finish in the box its self which has a far greater volume than the runner so the pulse energy dissipates quickly , so box acts like free air ,
I could be wrong on that ( probably am )
