Love it! Just logged and loving the colour scheme and overall layout. Very up-market ;) We done chaps.
I think the new Zone is great, I like the colour scheme just leave it, but you can't please everybody all of the time, also I think it'll will just take people a wee while to get use to the changes, but it's all good!

Steve... i cant seem to delete messages in my P.M. box and trying to post on forums often brings back "Invalid Session... please resubmit the form", which means i need to keep resubmitting till it works (often about 3 times...) which is just annoying.
This may only be in Mozilla and on my work computer, but it is strange. I'll have to see how my home pc fairs with it!

The only thing I have to bitch about is the wasted space on the left & right. it's still there.

I like it, love the new theme, not experienced any email issues to my knowledge, I even liked the new classifieds. Top notch work indeed!
Not in E30s any more

Have to say I voted "can't get on with it". Glad to see the for sales sorted, not sure what the new classifieds have in store. It's just this colour scheme. Someone above states its "depressing" and I have to agree. It's very hard on the eyes and overall, not easy veiwing.
Have to say the team did a great job but at the moment I preferred it as it was. Sorry

The phpBB forum update was needed and is very welcome. The only issues are CSS related, for example the random widths of threads instead of an absolute value.
Now that the issues have been fixed with category selection in the new classifieds I really like the change. Maybe have the For sale child forum link to classifieds for those who don't want to change a habit?

I like it - but then I didn't think there was anything wrong with the old one. Will be nice to see some of the new stuff when its fully functional.
One weird thing on P1 of this thread the page didn't need scrolling from side to side to see everything, but on this page it does ??

That's to do with the CSS problem mentioned by case, above. A fairly easy fix, possibly one that'll happen by accident when the new alternative colour scheme is available.capri_rob wrote:One weird thing on P1 of this thread the page didn't need scrolling from side to side to see everything, but on this page it does ??
I prefer the Zone this way.

You're right cloud - it seems to have fixed itself - no side to side scrolling needed now.Cloud wrote:That's to do with the CSS problem mentioned by case, above. I think the new zone is a huge improvement in lots of ways - little artistic detailing, like the roundels etc. The only thing I find will take a bit of getting used to is the listings at the top of each forum heading, telling you who is online in each section. I was in the Pub Talk section just now, and had to dive out straight away because d6dph was the only other person there. Bit skint at the mo so couldn't have bought him a drink
My other half thinks I'm a total saddo for getting on the zone, so I can imagine now the 'so who are you talking to?' questioning!
"Well until you asked me, there were dozens of people perusing the same section as me......."

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
Why thank you sir! I'm thinking of changing it so currently in the process of designing another... Watch this spaceCloud wrote:Is it weird that I still think one of the coolest things about the Zone is hubble's avatar?
I'm more than happy with my new sig pic too. Good contrast against the black and grey backdrop

I've tried that, and again. Figured it was only in Firefox, works fine in IE. Still yet to try at home. Well, i have Zone for the timebeing....Steve wrote:sounds like a cookie problem, clear your cookies and log back in and try againNayC wrote:Steve... i cant seem to delete messages in my P.M. box and trying to post on forums often brings back "Invalid Session... please resubmit the form", which means i need to keep resubmitting till it works (often about 3 times...) which is just annoying.

Everything seems to be fine for me and I'm nice and used to it now
.

Not too sure of the white text on dark background, seems a bit bright too me.
I would also prefer a search for new posts since last vist if possible to skim through anything that is current.
Overall a job well done, like the design very much

There's something odd going on with the BBCode for urls
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-CONVERS ... 240%3A1308
that should be an ebay link
