If the numbers dont go up me and terry will also be dropping off the list
There are usually 7 of us from down here and to be honest the 60 mile round trip is our local meet and they all want it more local each month so possibly the last time they will do this as nobody else is fussed .
Main problem i have , Its not like turn up at mc donalds as you dont have to notify them of we are coming its just extra business .
With the diner i have to phone up and give him numbers so he can get extra staff on and have tried to hold onto this meet with the same group travelling the 60 mile trip every month .

Rob this meet will still be on mate .
Chatted to a guy last night from another forum and they are interested in our night so its possible to have a joint night rather that us just lose this meet but with the way things have gone they may possibly take our night but we will still be welcome as a joint meet but the way things have been going with numbers off here we will see , I have to speak to geoff as well yet .
Tbh out of the 7 or more of us from sussex most dont own bmws now and it was them that made the numbers up tbh .
If nobody turns up here will still be a opportunity of going as a joint meet with the others and a few are coming this saturday night to see what the diner is like .
Its been hard trying to keep this meet and it seems i am always chasing people and ringing geoff at the diner to let him know numbers and its my time and phone calls which i dot mind but for just the same group to show with the odd 1 or 2 others ... and it would be a shame if we lost this meet but to be honest a lot now dont own bmw`s and the rest live to far to travel so just seems pointless trying to keep it .

Main point is there may still be a opportunity of having a monthly meet joint with the other forum if we want it , If not its there if you guys want it , Ill still post the meet but think it will just die a death due to lack of bmws showing up in reality .

Thanks peeps, yep I'm OK but sorely gutted about the state of the E30 though highly impressed by its strength following the head-on smack into a central reservation crash barrier at 70mph and being able to walk away without a scratch!
