As title really, lastnight i picked up Maxfields set of black BBS's and the plan is to get my decent tyres onto those and re-furb mine.

Im also not sure what colour to do the middles or how to achieve a tough finish that will shrug off the brake dust and general road grime.... Help :o:

Here's mine after some "post driving season care".
Polished lip is the way to go, though you need to wash them quite often :)

I thought about doing the centers body colour, but then I thought white would hide the polished lip and if im going to all the trouble of doing it and keeping it polished then I want to see it 8)

centres painted aluminium silver, lips polished and NOT laqured. you need to clean then often and polish the lip with metal polish paste at least weekly

What is it with everyone wanting to buy everyone else's stuff all the time :?

I don't like polished rims on 1 piece wheels, there's always that line where the polished metal stops and the rest of the wheel finish begins and it just looks a bit silly IMO.
Not in E30s any more :(
