I don't know the difference between the two engines!!!

I know mines an M20. That's as far as I've got so far.

What cars are these two engines out of?

Please don't think I'm being sarcy, I really don't know....

M30 is a 3.5 12valve engine out of 5,6,7 series roughly late 80s
M50 is a 2.5 24valve engine out 3,5 series early to mid 90s

flywheel makes no difference to power

it wont give you more bhp a light flywheel all i does is give the engine less weight to move
