The second car I posted up has 2002 Turbo style arches, I'm sure you can still pick these up from somewhere, as getting genuine items will probably be damn near impossible!

My rear arches are pulled and rolled to fit 8j (ET is for a VW too) on a 60mm drop.
It was done when the rear inner and outer arches were replaced and resprayed.

its just about visible in the photo.

If executed properly those style arches could look excellent on an E30.

These would work
AND they are different/rare in the UK
Excuse the poor photochopping
Just trying to see how they'll look on my tourer
EVen thinking of making them look abit like the 190 evo ones

is it a rolling machine that doesnt damage the paint ? you could make the cost back easily by hiring it out but everyone at the meets will ave the same arches...
keep us posted with updates when you use it.

an arch roller will only roll the lip up under the arch, if you try and use it to pull the arch out wider it will definetly crackrosscoe wrote:If you take yer time and use a heat gun to soften the paint then its possible to do it without crackin it,but am in no doubt watsoever that i'm gonna crack it....i'll keep you posted!
if youve got a solid one youl find they take sum effort to roll!
I want iX skirts
and have done for a while. I'll probably stick with tech 1's though. Anyone got some more pics of E30s with slightly rolled out arches, i like the look. But not those beasts shoved on like some above as they only suit rally cars IMO.
Those arches are used on basically all fords that enter amature rallys (at least amature, doubt many pro's use old escorts and fiestas) but they do look cool. Just not for a road car IMO.GrindCulture wrote:The second car I posted up has 2002 Turbo style arches, I'm sure you can still pick these up from somewhere, as getting genuine items will probably be damn near impossible!

Uni is killing the project.
