alright

does anyone know the best place to get a wiring diagram and preferably pin out for the plugs for the m60 engine loom?

also which is the best manual, i realise it'll be covered a bit in the five series haynes and i presume the bentley, but the bentley is a bit pricey just for the engine information, so does anyone know of just an engine specific manual or link

thanks

Are you wiring M60 to E30?
Try searching internet for BMW's ETM (electronic troubleshooting manual), it has all the schemas for E34 also. They're available on some sites, don't know direct link to any of them, though.

I did little writeup about M60-E30 wiring, i can post it here tomorrow when i go to my garage-place.

There's something about M60 wiring on www.e30.de also ;)

just had a look on e30.de, i see it has the engine plug connections, without looking at my engine i assume you can make it so that they plug together, only problem i may have is that my engine plug is the earlier type, but that can soon be lopped off and a facelift one put on

Yes the wiring on E30 side differs quite a lot by different yearmodels and body types, but there's quite good ETM's for E30 on internet.

I uploaded small writeup here.
Just ask if something is unclear :)
