As topic suggests, what colour do you think i should paint them?

I was thinking red or silver.

Aslo what about putting an M-tech 2 front bumber on it? So it looks like this. (scroll down to the car pics)

Id get SE sideskirts or something with that M-tech II front to balance out the look of the car a bit more.
Think i'd choose the Red Calipers myself, should have had a poll! :(

got some sideskirts if ya want some here mate.
Personally I wouldn't bother painting the calipers, maybe a glossy black, but I'm not sure if you would be able to see it enough :S

Silver or black, anything else looks wierd. You dont really want to be showing off the E30's puny brakes.

im gonna go silver too. should look nice with the silver silouette of the calipers through the wheels. mmm sexy...(i need to get out more :tongue2: )

but will deffo look better than the crusty rusty colour they are now anyway

i was thinking a wire brush to the lot, to loosen al the crap, then prime it good and propper, and go hammerite black on the hubs and exposed bearing and ht silver paint on the calipers,

that and some new galvenised brake clips along with new pads and by jove, i think weԚ´ve got it

Adam

Are those 17" rims? and how many mm have you lowered the car?

:offtopic:

Yeah, I know but I have a 318i and I am looking to get 16mm Alpina rims with my 40mm drop.

Thanks for your quick replys. Still undecided whether to go red or silver

My wheels are 17" mate, and i believe the springs are -40mm.

EDIT: Have you got any pics of the SE side skirts?

And do you need to drill the sides at all, like for the M-tech 2?

Any other color really doesn't look good IMO. Red can be pulled off on a red car but that is really it.

Delphin's are red but they don't stand out because of the brake dust, I'll do them black one day.
