Just drove back after dropping one of may mates at his house, coming down a road near my house and some bloke pulls out in front of me causing me to have to do a near emergency stop, and stops in the middle of the road, flashed my lights at him and made a gesture, describing what I thought of his poor driving. I drove round his car, still half way across the road and proceeded down the road, at which point he started following me, very close to my bumper. I took a few turns, deliberately trying to see if he was following me before coming to stop at a junction waiting for other cars, at which point he threw a bottle at the car ( i think denting my bootlid, cant see at the moment, its dark, pulled round me shouting obsenities and sped off..........

I have a temper problem. I would invite him to get out of the car....then reverse into his door/legs and leave him for dead in his car.
If i was realy pissed about it I would take his phone A-so he cant call the police or ambulance. B-to pay for making me damage my car.

Another example of of a c*ck.
Maybe next time just drive on without provoking said person, safe in the knowledge you were in the right and hes/shes a gimp.Theres always someone out there with little or nothing to lose or just dont give a sh!t unlike the decent majority of us,and are happy to cause damage to something we care for (even e30s).

my sister lives on the outskirts of Edinburgh and was going to her work last week ( night shift at asda in leith ) and had a bloke follow her she pulled into a petrol garage and the bloke got out and started hitting the side of her car shouting and swearing at her ( shed over took him on a 60 when he was doing 30 !! ) a taxi driver stepped in with a bit of help and knocked the bloke out.. the thing that annoys me is though what if the taxi driver hadn't been there!!! as this could have easily went bad and my sister ended out hurt or worse....

Neil. I doubt the police would have wanted to know. I have rung them on two occasions in the last 6 months and they just paid me lip service and left me on my own. One was a theft from my property and the other fraud! Add that to the fact ChrisIS "made a gesture" in the first place I reckon the Police would say that he aggrivated the situation. He'd have got nowhere I gaurantee it.cliffybabe wrote:should of got his plate dude and u could of reported it

Police?
They wouldnt do anything before running your details and previous, and like B7 says it would only be lip service. Unless its on camera with something to clearly identify the "criminal" they couldnt care less, there are plenty more cars out there doing 33 in a 30 etc
You either ignore it and shy away or risk facing a potential 'GBH' 'carrying with intent' 'dangerous driving' or anything the scum can pin on you

I do a similar thing - I wave and smile - they think I'm totally off planet. Last week coming down from Inverness I misjudged a distance and a guy coming the other way gave me the sign etc - I just waved and smiled at him..........madaboutthe30 wrote:Whenever another road user aggrevates me I just blow kisses at them. it's when stuff like this happens that you wish you were driving a scummy old Pajero or similar so you could just smack into his POS and then reverse back and have a few more goes (after checking there are no witnesses about)
It's a funny feeling when stuff like this happens, kind of belittles you doesn't it.

Dead on, My old discovery with all of the offroad protection, associated offroad battle scars etc, I really wouldnt have cared about (another) dent on its already well scarred bodywork, brake checking someone in a lifted landrover with rear sudstancial rear recovery points, and a monster tank guard I found (to the expense of a transit driver who was tailgating me) to be excellent fun! It was always great to kick the door open into another vehicle if you were parked and they had done it to you!!!!
