I am moving all of my ignition wiring to a switch so i was wondering what wire does what, i know the green wire is ignition but i am not sure what the rest of them do??

black yellow is to the starter. brown is earth.2 x thick balck, one is live when in on position but not cranking. the other when cranking.

Just from memory so check them first to make sure.
M30 Tech 1 Touring on gas.

Red is power in, purple is first ignition position, green is second ignition position, and black is position 3 (start).
Purple and green can be connected together.
The smaller wires are for things like seat belt warning lights and the parking light function on the indicator stalk, and can all be ignored.

I had worked out the larger wires but i was confused by the smaller ones, i will cut em back and blank them off.
