nah the week hasnt been too bad really. I knew there'd be a few teething troubles if I bought second hand alloys. I'm still really pleased with the way my E30 looks now and very proud of it. I looked a bit too much like a European diplomat with the steel wheels on it!
I can't find any companies in the UK that do Meshindo Racing wheels...does anyone have any suggestions of tyre specialists on the web that might stock a replacement cap?
Also, is it possible to buy replacement ones that have the BMW logo on it because I'd prefer a set of those

ooooooh yeh. Just been on the country roads to Sidmouth and it was handling like a beauty! Had a quick spin on the motorway as well and there was only some minor judder at a ton which I'll accept seeing as I don't usually drive that fast.Simon13 wrote:you can buy bmw badges cheap from the dealer in different sizes, i take it rebalance did the trick then?!
when you say "the dealer", you mean a proper BMW dealership? Not sure where there is one round Exeter.

thanks for that missy, just been down to Marsh Barton (a weird and wonderful industrial estate where every single car manufacturer is represented) and the bad news is that the BMW caps don't fit my wheel. Went to a few other wheel places and they didn't seem particulary optomistic so I think I'm either gonna have to find a Meshindo parts dealer or just leave the wheels with one cap missing. Not too bothered really but can anyone recommend some internet parts places?

Not sure if anyone has said this but keep the steels for winter use!!timjbart wrote:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... otohosting#
They're to replace my steel ones as I think they look pretty crap and I'm properly fed up of them! Do you think they look ok? Is there a market on ebay for steel wheels or should I hang on to them?
