dodgy breaklight sensor

on me 2.5 the breaklight warning light keeps comin on on the overhead check computer but the break lights are fine and when i tap the breaks it goes off. Not a problem really, just a bit annoying and wondered if anyone knows why?

this comes on when you first start the engine,tap the brakes and it goes off!

comes on when engine first starts up but im sure i didnt notice this before. have not had the car long so may just not o noticed.
This is part of the brake test system (I thought the same as you when I got my first E30). If it stays on after you touch the brake pedal, then you have problems (such as a bulb out etc). If it goes out, all's good

What is likley to be wrong if it dose not go off.
