Arguments aside, i got 185bhp and 190lbft from only a £650 manifold and £400 exhaust but to be honest i dont think the exhaust is much of an improvement over a standard one power wise.
200bhp+

The ONLY four pot i would consider is an S14.GrindCulture wrote:Welcome to 4 pot land!bss325i wrote:It seems no one wants to give the M20 route a chance anymore, well not many people anyway.
Have you heard one up close or just on the 'tube?Alex wrote:worth the money then
wish you could get an m42 to sound like a s14 with carbon airbox
You have GOT to hear one or better still get a ride or drive in a car with one!Alex wrote:just the tube

I do! The M20 is good enough for what I want to achieve I reckon.bss325i wrote:It seems no one wants to give the M20 route a chance anymore, well not many people anyway.
I agree. I think that you could get pretty close with a carefully thought out plan of attack.bss325i wrote:I would say 200bhp is possible without touching the bottom end.daimlerman wrote:200bhp from an M20 will require a capacity increase with all the associated costs.180bhp will cost about £1500

dan, yeah I saw that, I doubt it's making that atm. Er oh M54 mani's are different to m52's which would explain why I have struggled like a cock to make my exhaust! dohhhhhhh
Alex, it cost me £500 to put an m50 in and change to an e36 rack I did all the work myself mind.
Rav, Burgoil is obviously a pikey and just wants to extract as much cash out of this poor guys pocket as possible.
guy with chromer who doesnt have space to do the conversion sorry I forgot your name, speak to danthe about a conversion

I was about to say that.
210 BHP standard on an Alpina c2 2.7
No messing around involved, will deal with standard 2.5s and most other cars on roads today.
