spook, you,ve got me thinking now. The wheels and tyres on that black
one would be ideal for some of the roads near my future build.
The laws on importing a british car are a bit confusing to say the least, but seen plenty of old e30,s out there. Probably going to be shifting some household bits in a container, plenty of room for tyres, wheels, engine etc, etc. Need to study some Greek import laws, well don,t want to be sunbathing all day every day now, do i.

Alot of people just ignore the rules and keep a car out there anyway. Or if you like doing things by the book, you can keep your car there for up to six months each year. Is your house on the mainland or an Island?

Island of Zakynthos Theo, which slightly complicates things. The problem, or one of them, is that if i,ve got this right the imported car has to be registered within a month of import but the powers that be more often as not take far longer than a month to complete the paperwork. Unfortunately the onus appears to be on the owner not the authorities. Not one for sticking to the rules, but over the last few years several British owners have had there cars consficated. Not sure if i,m willing to risk that. Should be back over there roundabout May/June this year,
so might pay me to seek legal advice. The locals will just tell you anything, bless em.

I agree wholeheartedly. Another case in point:rob0r wrote:What I find most amusing on this thread is the emphasis that the 2002's rat look is deliberate, he did all the repairs himself and didn't bother painting it. I think there's more pride in restoring a car from the ground up than a cheque book respray. My mate in question lives down the road and has a workshop on my farm, and trust me he has the ability to paint the car himself, he just has other priorities for the car

I drove this car in this condition for most of last summer, gradually making repairs when not commuting to 2 jobs. Looking pretty was the last thing on my mind, but at least now its all one color...
As for that 356, I rather like it, simply for the depravity of it-- the shock value. Then again, I'm a sick, twisted freak
That's probably why I like that black 2002 as well!
