The rear view mirror with built-in map lights: How difficult would it be to put one of these in my touring?
The current lighting to either side of the 'cockpit' is a pretty bad show!

As long as you get one with the wring it's v. straightforward. Just plugs in, with the assistance of a removed a pillar trim.

Hi touring,

Ive just bumped the thread in the technical section as Im about to fit one myself but want to rewire the mirror so it comes on with the interior lights and still funtions normally.

i paid a fiver for mine and i dont have the wireing loom, but to fit it all you do is run a + & - from the mirror down into behind the glovebox, via the passanger pillar, some speaker wire should be fine

still need to fit mine, i think the hardest part is putting the mirror back in from what ive read
