ive known of these for ages, you could only get them on the continent yada yada yada etc but what is this?

its RHD...... i dont understand.... this may cure my issue with fuel consumption and no e30

It's a 324d and not td unfortunately :(

I thought they were more for towing than economy as they are 6-pots, doubt if a 2.4 6 cylinder diesel would be much more economincal than say a 316i - likely to be slower as well :roll:

Impossible to insure too as none of the insurance companies know what it is.......don't do it :wink:

How about an LPG converted E30?

I think there's just one word to describe this car.

'WRONG'

It was made in an era when german diesels were at least a decade behind the french. This is basically BMW's budget taxi for it's home market.

Steer well clear. If you need a diesel that handles well buy a Citroen Xantia for Ԛ£800. The andyspares discussion forum is as good as the E30 zone for advice and help too!!

The ultimate advice is buy a 318i, not much less economical than a 316i and decent performance too. You'll get a good one for about Ԛ£800 easily.

but what u don't realise is it has a forged steel crank for a silly quick 2.7 engine
And a car full of spares for Ԛ£142 ain't bad! think u could make your money back!
