15" splits? I've never seen a set. I've seen 16 and 17 though. Quite a lot of dollar I expect.

Yeah Jimbob had some, & didn't Ste end up owning them at some point? Never seen any others!

Worth just a few pence in whatever size though. Unless they've got a cracked rim of course, in which case I'd want to be sure I could source a replacement before spending anything... :)

Come on then, where is a picture of these 15's then? I wonder if they have a convex or concave dish, as the 1 piece 15's and 16's were different with the 16's being miles better.

Boooo!!!!!!

And i've had a set of 1 piece 15's. Can I be honest? They look a bit shit really, the bolt rim looks wrong, the concave face looks wrong. 16" 2 piece are a world apart from these only beaton by the impressive 17" 3 piece rims.

All IMO mind, they may look better once they are booted up and on a car.

Nasty Jon! I think they look quite nice, certainly nicer than the 2 piece 16" wheel. The caps look convex to me.

Where did you get them from? If I were selling them I'd put them on German ebay, as rare parts tend to fetch alot over there.

I get convex and concave mixed up at the best of times. Which is which? These 2 piece 15's look like they are like the 1 piece 15s, where the face bows out of the rim. I personally prefer the hartges where the face bows IN towards the hub.

Concave is recessed inwards and convex is a protrusion.

It's strange how the 1 piece 15's and 16's are by in large a very similar wheel, but the 16 just looks so much better.

Whenever its 50/50 I get it the wrong way round, although I just copied Barx in calling them concave. :)

Perhaps its just the extra 1" but I doubt it, it's the shape as well.

Mine are convex... the concave ones do look better, but you don't exactly see many of either so I don't think I'll be finding any to swap!

The outer dish carries them off though, whereas the 15's face comes to close to the outside rim if that makes sense. Again all IMO.

Just out of interest I have two sets of 15" Hartge one piece wheels. One set with a concave face and one with a convex face.

Ones on my car are convex ( bow out)

These are concave

Image
I have been told that the ones on my car are actually ment for a E21 and they have a different offset.
