Since owning my E30 in October 2005 I've had 8 sets of Alloys go on and off of it but I think I'm there now with my latest alloys

My cab as I bought it with my 1st Set of alloys, speedline alloys which where Azev A reps i think

Image

Image

2nd Set: Then I went onto the BBS 15inch Alloys

Image

Image

Also added my tec1 front and rear valance
Image

3rd Set: From there I went onto some 17inch Pina Reps
Image

Image

Then I got the alpinas refurbed cliffy style
Image

Image

One of the alpina's come off all but one bolt whilst going down the M25 i felt a horrible vibration on the front whilst doing 80-90mph got onto the hard shoulder had a look round and took th efront right centre cap off to find that the wheel bolts fell out and had done damamge to the cab. After this i lost interest in the cab for a while and then I was offered a swap for some different wheels

4th Set: My next set from the swpa of the Pina's Where Dayton Style Knock Off's
Image

Image

Image

Image
Ow and r notice theres my cabby tec1 side skirt too (they were well hard to source

I really liked the Knock off alloys but they different fit properly i altered the brake carrier to make them fit, the carrier snapped and I then got offered silly money for them from a irish tv company and flogged them this left the cab on stnads for a week and i then bought Jamz Keskins

5th Set:
Image

Image

Image

Image

Then the perfect wheels for my cabby come up Borbet B alloys they are now in the for sale section, Get the <a onMouseOver="javascript:window.status='plug in';return true;" onMouseOut="javascript:window.status='';return true;" href="http://parrotcoupe.info?v=1%2E21&ss=plug+in">plug in</a> there

6th Set:
Image

Image

Image

Image

7th Set:
Then a set of 9J Borbet B alloys come up so i bought the set in thoughts to create two staggard sets of borbets and sell one of the sets off

Image

Image

8th Set:

Then I decided to try the Borbet B 9J's all round and I was in 2minds keep the staggard or the 9J's all round I knew if let the 9J's go I'd kick myself in years to come so the 9J's all round are staying

Image

Image

Image

Now these have gone in for a Cliffy style refurb and they should be back this week as soon as I've got new pic's ill get them up

Ill be interest to see ur comments on my wheels over the years

Thanks
Neil

Borbet 9s are the best of the bunch IMHO, suit the car much more that the staggered look.
The car looks great now.
The wire wheels are awesome, except for the Mad Max center caps. Can you still buy wheels like these to fit an e30?

Never mind the wheels, how many cars you got in the house Neil? Looks like a traders! (By the way, Happy New Year).

Being an old wrinkly I like the BBS's and the Borbet's.

Can't argue with 9J all round, but honestly i think the wires suited the look of your car the best.

Not sure what it is (possibly the chunky tyres or the angle of the pics??) but the B's don't look right for some reason.

Chrome arches, they spoil the Borbets hugely IMO.
