thought so, even so im pleased as punch with the car. what about "special edition"harry_p wrote:He was full of shite, seen them on hundreds of non black m3s. Not as common as the split 5 spokes, but common none the less. Part of me thinks they were the standard non evo wheel

What would be the point? he didnt even mention it or try and say it was worth more or anything... to be honest i didnt even notice it till it came up on the HPI check as special (or limited cant remember) edition)maxfield wrote:You can change the name on the Logbook easily...

i much prefer them to this. which i believe was the standard wheel for this car wasnt it?Jon_Bmw wrote:They are like a luxury bottletop, kind of. Part of me actually likes them, more so than the 5 twin spoke 'motorsport' design.

i much prefer mine to the 5 spokes. arent the five spokes the standard wheel for this car?Jon_Bmw wrote:They are like a luxury bottletop, kind of. Part of me actually likes them, more so than the 5 twin spoke 'motorsport' design.

Yes thats right, these wheels were introduced on late N reg Coupe's onwards.......Gibson wrote:i much prefer mine to the 5 spokes. arent the five spokes the standard wheel for this car?Jon_Bmw wrote:They are like a luxury bottletop, kind of. They're not actually - they're a 3.0 wheel, not an Evo wheel so are correct on the car. The Evo version has more of a dish - and is a nicer wheel imo, even though theres not a huge difference.tomson wrote:Those wheels are the facelift M3 EVO coupe wheels so are not correct fro your M reg car. They replaced the 5 "split" spoke ones which yours would have had from new.......

yea i guessed that much lol, are they rare then? i seen plenty of evo ones but not many 3.0kdevitt wrote:Full of shite by the way saying they were only on black cars!

Nah, wrong. Both 3.0 and evo had available sunflowers, 5 spokes, and contours (m3 saloon wheels)tomson wrote:Those wheels are the facelift M3 EVO coupe wheels so are not correct fro your M reg car. They replaced the 5 "split" spoke ones which yours would have had from new.......
