Urgent ETK Query - Starter motor the same on all models?

Just phoned my local scrappy for a starter motor and they have ones from a 323i and 320i manual cars, plus a 325i auto. Question is, are they all the same? Did they vary with the age of car too?

You'll need to check how many wires attach to yours because I've found that some have 4 and some have 3.

You might notice that 2 wires go onto the same terminal on the starter.
What you need to check is how many terminals are on the starter, apart from this, I belive all M20 starters are the same. I have a spare here if you can't get one.
