hi, zoners i was walking through camden today, i saw a dolphin grey sport on a hreg, it was parked up at the side of the road, it was really neglected to say the least. the centre caps were missing, every panel was dented apart from the roof, mtec bumpers hanging off it , 2 of the side pods missing , absolutely filthy!! . just looked a real mess !! what i want to know is why can such a sort after bmw end up like this, this should carry a custodial sentence of life in prison if i had my way, such a shame to waste a true classic bmw ,

When i got mine it looked as bad if not worse than ytour discription, but i just had to have it and breath some new life into it !!!!!!!
When complete it should be almost as good as the best out there and will stand me in aboutԚ£4000, alot i know. but i know every nuck & cranny of this car, although the body shop geezer keeps letting me down on completion dates i feel i will be able to try and post before and after photos by mid August, watch this space !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess the badly looked after E30s end up in the breakers yard providing parts for the well looked after ones. It's a pity to see a classic such as a 325i Sport being so badly neglected.
Hopefully someone will buy it and restore it to its original condition. It takes guts and determination to do this though (along with a deep pocket).

old cars get shitty not all of them can stay mint and not everyone has or wants to spend the cash restoring it to former glory probably cost them fudge all and just use it as a fun shitter to knock about in.

The difference is , most people see cars that are over 10 years old as 'old' cars that are not worth the hassle.e30geezer wrote:true but if they want a sh*T car why not buy a skoda to knock the hell out of it>Rearwheel_nick wrote:old cars get sh*t not all of them can stay mint and not everyone has or wants to spend the cash restoring it to former glory probably cost them fudge all and just use it as a fun sh*t to knock about in.
In some ways they are correct, what is the point in restoring a car which is past it? BUt its the enthusiasts which think differently!

hi, yes of course i would i like all e3o's even if it was a 316i, it would still be a shame , but the point im making is that i saw the said car and wondered why it was in such a bad state , this is my honest and personal opinion, i just could not beleive how bad this car was, and how it got into this state,Chaos wrote:badly neglected 325i sport (the worst)!!
