Window cleaning

Any tips or suggestions for a detailing novice as to the best way of cleaning window glass. I always seem to struggle to get a clean, smudge free result. The front window seems to be especially bad.

autoglym glass polish and fast glass are good. also give them a claying on the outside before hand.

This method works a treat. But for best results use a clay bar & lube first to remove any bonded deposits on the glass first then follow with vinegar and a microfibre or newspaper. Don't forget the inside too.

Claying the glass is a great help.
I use "Stoners invisible glass" and a waffle weave microfibre towel, Works really well.

A little tip for you, When doing glass do the inside up/down & outside left/right then if you get a smear you know which side it's one due to the direction the smear follows

Depends really. Water with some or click on the following links for more info. I've found the Zymol kit to be very good, but not cheap
