Are chrome wheel arch covers a good way to hide rusty arches?
Can anyone out there advise on good made-to-measure chrome arch covers? How do these fit on?

Sorting the tin worm is always better than hiding the tin worm. There's a guy on here called cliffybabe who can advise you of all your chrome requirements.
For your information, they aren't the most popular modification on here, so be prepared to take some stick

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

What she said. But if you will insist on doing this you can get them at ECP and GSF I thinkbeemerbird wrote:Sorting the tin worm is always better than hiding the tin worm. There's a guy on here called cliffybabe who can advise you of all your chrome requirements.

these came with my first E30,and yes it was covering the rot,
OR the chrome arches acted as a trap and caused it to rot!
either way the came off and went on e-gay

slightly different but when i had a mk2 golf with rusty arches, i ground the rust off and slapped a load of silver hammerite over the areas then but gti spats over the tops of that. this way i covered my sound (although not pleasant to look at) repairs.
could you do the same with your e30?

My archs r out of choice rather than a need, I like them however once i get a full respray they will be removed as i dont want to mess up my fresh paint work

Considering Selling the Cabby, looks like its gonna go
