Changing my clutch. While taking off the exhaust I managed to snap a stud. As per the pic. Will it just pop out the other side with a bit of force or what are my options? need to get it fixed today really.

get a bit of heat on the manifold, knock the stud out, you can use a bolt to replace the stud until you get another.

E46 manifold studs are welded to the manifold - just like the E36 318iS and Ti. You will need to beat the threaded end until it pops out, or grind the head off. The correct stud is around £4 from BMW.

Ahh couldn't pop them out the other side so going to drill them out and fit 4 new ones. What should I put on them to stop them corroding again?
