Hi all,

Had a 3" squareish hole in the left hand side storage bit on my touring where it backs onto the wheel (if you get me) which i got welded up by my local garage yesterday, trouble is its still filling with water when i drive it. Are these prone to leaky windows or other such trouble please? Cant see where its coming in.

Thanks in advance,

Bazzo winkeye

It might just be the rear wash wipe, have a look at the bottle/pipes while someone presses the button.

My Touring had the same problem which turned out to be water chanelled down from the roof coming in where the big vent behind the bumber had become loose. I sealed it in place with some Silicon Shower Sealant to fix the problem.

Rear lights often leak. You could try just tightening it up or removing it, cleaning the sealing area and refitting.

Edited: plus adding new seals.
