Ok not in "I want to shag it way" just that its a cool car, does everything i want it to, starts most times, can get shed loads of stuff in it. Quick, it has similar performance to my old TVR S1. Cheap to run, insurance and tax wise, doesn't drink fuel.

Hell I have taken it to Le Mans, drag raced it, met great people because I own it, what more can i ask of a car?

This came up as I was talking to a couple of old freinds and they said, if your such a petrol head why don't you buy a sports car like an Elise or Caterham etc

I beat them down to £3,750 with a full service, fresh MOT, new brake disks and an imobiliser. It came with a full service history, every MOT, every service receipt and 55k on the clock. It only has 74K now

She's a lovely old beast Paul. A proper car.

I'm another that is totally ott over a car that most would consider old scrap. I ordered a proper fitted cover for it the other day to the tune of £120 :o:

Where from Dave? :D

Do love my e30 also.. She's a bit of a turd, council as fook, but great fun when you give it a spanking down some good roads.

Only thing i'd replace it with is an Z3/4M Coupe

It's a top car you have there. It's a late one with some nice bits on it! I've seen it change over the years on the zone and I'm glad you are still smitten.

Did you remove the side skirts and colour code the sills?

No it was running without the side skirts in the first photo for a year. The black plastic SE skirts were re-fitted recently for a photo shoot

I was toying with the idea of removing the side sills on mine - bloody rust traps.

Cotty, I have always had a soft spot for your car! I like the Hartge stripes on it and when I first saw it decided I wanted a set of Hartge wheels like yours to.

Now I just will have YOUR Hartge Wheels!

Love your touring. 325i E30 T is imo one of the few ideal "only" car scenarios (i.e. birsk / practical / fun to drive enough that you're never in the "wrong" car) :thumb:
