Mine is also set for 3 seconds. I will have a look for the manual shut-off on the multivalve. Should this be turned all the way in?

Are you sure its not getting too much fuel. Mine is set to 1.5 second switch over, I can switch over on idle and not bother with this going along the road, switching, then hard on the gas nonsense! Of course its a slightly different engine, but 3 seconds is a long time IMO.
Mess around with the settings, use a laptop and a mate if you can to experiment whilst on the move.

Which settings should be messed around and changed?Jon_Bmw wrote:Are you sure its not getting too much fuel. So will yours start on a cold morning on lgp or do you need to warm it up abit first?
The multivalve thimble is all the way out.
I have changed the stepper defalt to 100 rather than originally 209. This makes the o2 sensor go red to green and back etc which is correct, I think.
Cheers
Heh, I just pulled the plugs on mine and they are BPR6ES's - which annoyed me as I have a box with 80 brand new BR5ESs which are identical except they dont have a protruding electrode....
Default on mine is 85 - 90 ish. It varies depending on your vapoirser setup though.

So would you say they will be alright?johnlouis wrote:Heh, I just pulled the plugs on mine and they are BPR6ES's - which annoyed me as I have a box with 80 brand new BR5ESs which are identical except they dont have a protruding electrode....

Still having trouble switching over, It only switches after driving about 2 miles and everything is warmed up. If I try switching any earlier, it just stalls and wont run. Any ideas?
I thought I would share some photos of my install since I havent put any on yet.

I’m liking that filler, very stealthy
Mine is just hanging below the bumper as it's a touring.
Just a thought, how have you plumbed in the coolant for the vaporiser? mine is in parallel with the heater matrix teed into both hoses which also makes a handy bleed point, it also means that for initial warm-up if I get any hesitation on gas I can try switching the heater to full cold so all the coolant flow in those pipes goes to the vaporiser.

Still havent thought of a proper way to have a quick release number plate. At the moment, it is on velcro which is working fine at the moment but im scared it will some day fall off!
The coolant is plumbed in parrallel with the heater matrix like yours and after running is very hot so I assume it is working well.
