I saw one of these today, would of taken some pictures if I wasn't driving.
It was an E90 - usual Alpina stuff on it.
Anyone know a bit more about them? Specification etc?
Looked pretty nifty anyway.

200bhp and 302lb ft.. with a bigger turbo and injectors.. I bet with a remap and little more work that would get some nice figures

These have been around for a couple of years and Ive seen quite a few around....They look pretty good but I think theyre a little to common to be classed as special like most Alpinas.

There was a very good buying guide for them in last month's BMW Car magazine. The newer version looks even more special and a nice alternative to a E90/1/2 Sport.

If i remember righty they were cheaper than the equivilant spec 320D M-sport.
They were also pretty much fixed spec with i think only the colour being a choice.

Yep, spec was fixed with the only options being colour and a choice of two different sets of alloys. You could spec other options but would need to part with a further 2K before doing so!bss325i wrote:If i remember righty they were cheaper than the equivilant spec 320D M-sport.

A good C2 2.7 will see one off as i found out the other day!
Great car with the usual Alpina majic in the suspension department which can't be said of E90's in SE or Sport forms.
Great ride quality, handling with ya big rims!
