£3000 is more realistic for a rough car. under £2000 seems to cheap to me even for a dog.

Now I've never really liked e36s, but I gotta say that the blue convertible is making me think dirty filthy toughts, I quite like it to be honest.

However, I would choose an E30 anyday.

But nevertheless its very nice.
Some are scams, some are original, phone up and offer cash on collection, if they refuse, then it's 70% chance it's a scam, this is after winning the bid of course.

That blue one must be a scam - the red one could be genuine

has anyone in the history of the internet actually fell for such a scam? is there people stupid enough to buy and pay via paypal or other method other than cash on collection for a car they have never actually seen in real life?
unless its just for the deposit on winning but then who'd buy a acr without viewing it first?

the car doesnt exist, you're asked to pay a deposit which you never see again, user sets up a new id and does the same again and again.

or, occasioanlly more sinister, they seem genuine, you go through the usual buying process, turn up with a wedge of cash which gets taken off you by a load ofpeople who appear from nowhere, and dissapear again just as fast.

people are suckers for a bargain, the bigger the bargain the more blind people seem to be to the truth in their hurry to get a good deal.
cheers,

harry

The convertible is a scam, way to cheap for a convertible, they are still holding some decent prices.

Red one is about right.

I recently turned down an E36 M3 GT for £2500. It had a BIN of £2500, but got bid upto £2850

It was proper rough!

Got to agree about silly people who think they are getting a bargain.

We have a 53 reg'd Discovery that we recovered recently, it was stolen with 2 sets of keys. It was then rung, sold locally for 12k, stolen the next night, rung again with different numbers, then sold to someone down this way again for 12k, when the numpty owner sent the dodgy V5 to the DVLA, alarm bells rung, then they sent the police around who then took the car off him.

Not so cheap after all...
