Cherished numbers not selling well at the moment, Like Mrlee says as its a Northern Ireland
plate then only a cover plate, so not worth much.
Im trying to sell one on ebay , valued at £3500, im asking £995, and not getting a sniff at it.
Keep it, as it makes the car look mysterious. Ive just put a dateless pre 1964 plate on my cab,
and already had a few comments....

I thought Uncle Chris would have taught her better.Chris-W wrote:My niece, Silvia, might like it for her 18th birthday early next July.Theo325 wrote:Seriously, who would actually spend anything on an Irish plate? They are one of the most council modifications you could possibly burden your car with.

I remember seeing it as a nipper when my dad was buying his M3 outside the Sytners in Nottingham. Can't remember on the car though.BMWAlpinaC2 wrote:On 5th gear actaully, the blue Alpina.Jon_Bmw wrote:Last night at about 3 am directly above his bed.
It was on Top Gear actually, blue Z8 Alpina?
Was also on a 6 series at Gaydon last year IIRC.

SY7NER can't be a UK plate.
SY07NER could be, but only on a '07 or later car.
ALP117A currently resides on the Blue 6.0 B12 discussed here recently. The owner also has B12 ALP and V12 BMW - all bought from SY07NER.
A Maserati Quattroporte round the corner has G0 05 SLO and a TVR has been seen with UR 02 SLO which I like.

i dont trust valuations from the likes of elite/new reg. they charge you for a valuation, when in reality you can just look at whats available for sale and make sensible calculation from there
