Hi, My name is Paul & i'm new to the forum. I have had an E36 coupe for the last few years, but that has recently been written off after a neighbour reversed off his drive, straight into my car which was parked outside my house!
I'm in the market for a replacement, & i'm thinking of going old skool, a.k.a E30 325 Sport. Seen a few on pistonheads, but then looked on here & other members here have viewed them already & are in need of major work. I work for a main dealer in Kent, so getting parts for any future project should be no problem. Have to give my courtesy car, (E92 330i M-Sport) back soon, so i need to find one quite sharpish!!

Good luck pal! Welcome... ye, people on the Zone go and check out cars on a frequent occasion. Did you see the dolphin grey one on pistonheads for 2.5k, apparently a grandads...
... ye rust trap apparently. Could be sorted tho, but it is a slush box!
Go for it dude, if you can find yourself a nice sport! Dont expect to find a good deal relatively quick. Sometimes it takes people ages to find a good'un! And thats in the UK! Try Jersey, still aint ever seen a sport for sale, but only ever seen a few too!
Once again welcome to what could be your newest addiction (and i'm not joking
)!

Welcome to the zone
there are some clean sports out there, but tread carefully as there are some rotten dogs.
main issue is rust hiding under the tech-2 kit,
i was in a similar situation,i wanted a sport but the most of them were rotton or thrashed (i live near brum)
in the end i went for a clean rust free 325i se and im glad i did,im in the process of adding all the sport extras (kit, seats, diff, etc)
for a 'good' sport there is a price tag to it,but then again with the cash flow situation in this country you may get a bargain
Good luck!
