520i parts for a 325i?

Can any parts from a D reg E28 520i engine be used as spares for a C reg E30 325i? I'm thinking of parts such as hoses, ht leads, relays, starter motor, sensors, injectors etc?

Injectors are probably different, because of the capacity difference, and hose are probably different because of the different model, but everything else you mention is probably the same.
Use the ETK's comparison function to check properly. (Look up parts on your car - key in the last seven digits of your VIN, then see what other models those parts are used on)

OK thanks Brian. Someone had agreed to sell me a non runner 520i for £75 but after sorting out somewhere to store it and making arrangements to collect, he told me that he had given it to someone else for £50. Gutted. Never mind it's handy info to know for the future.
