how can u hear your bass louder?with the sub in the trunk the metal panel behind the back seat muffles the bass.is there a way to work around this?thanks

cut out the ski hatch or post it through the rear shelf . Or buy a bigger amp with more power

best way i ever got awsome bass in a 2 door. i cut the most of the metal panel out behind the seat then made a box in the boot that sat flush to the rear seats then i cut holes so that the subs sat in the rear seats but you could still sit on them. great thing was you could not see the subs even looking in the boot and they were 2 pioneed 12 inch subs with 1000rms was mental lol

multiple posts removed!!

and it is rough to cut a hole in a coupe/4 door, the ski hatch was an option and for those coupe/4door without the option the panel was only tackwelded in place and is not structural. it can be kicked through but better to grind away the welds and remove properly.

NOT an option in the cabs

what sub and amp you running? go with a pair of 12's of 15's , i had 2x12" w12gti's in ported box sounded nuts got a few crappy youtube vids. , but sold them and runned a single jbl gt3-15 in 2cuft sealed box , people knew when i was on the block .lol . it is really easy to get lould deep bass from a 4door.
