Hi,

Can someone confirm to me that the battery tray in the image below is indeed the same thing i've shaded in the OEM parts picture.

I've heard it's around £40 - anyone confirm this?

Am putting my parts list together...

The item that you have shaded (item 10) is the plastic cover that covers the battery when it is in situ.

From you photo it looks like you need the metal panel in the well. Do know the number though.

i'll have another look through in the meantime...

Hi Brett,

Have tried to get some more info on the piece but afraid all I can say is that it is the 'box' the battery tray sits in. On top of this you'l have the shaded item 10 above. All I need is the box.

If you have an OEM page your referencing from let us know and i'll find the same page

Can you help?
Cheers

If you are looking at realoem go to the battery section there is a battery tray listed which is a metal tray but it all depends on which model so i would need chassis number to confirm

Thanks

Hi!
Heres my VIN 0859091

BMW E30 325 Tech 1 1987 - April I think...

I need the box in the center of this pic - it's the bit with most of the rust! See above for a larger image of this. Image

Not sure what you call this BMW part so will attach 2 OEM pages. This part should cost between 30 and 50 pounds if that will help.

Hopefully this will help. Personally I think it is item 2 near the chassis. Been racking my brains for some time over this :D 8)

Hi There

the first time i looked at this i thought it was item 2 above if this is the case it costs £55.20, but like i have said they also list a metal battery tray shown with the battery which is £12.96 part number 51711922158 this is listed for your chassis, if you have a long bolt with a holding bracket at the end which holds the battery in place this panel is what that bolt screws into, i am sorry i cant give you a deffinant answer at the moment but i will look into it for you

Thanks

Are you still after the battery tray. One has appeared on ebay:
