looks good, take it by the phone number etc on the sheet that you're from SA, me too but living in the UK, was looking for a 325iS here, but found out they are only in SA, pity.

There are a couple of 325is in the uk, but have obviously been imported. Keep your eyes peeled!

SA 325i sport, but with aluminium doors and wings, 2.7 engine and 5 stud suspension, pretty rare out in SA too.

141Kw= approx 189BHP

I wouldve thought a 2.7 would offer more than that?..

that must be about 240 at the crank, could the clutch even take that much?

My 2.5 does 15 sec 1/4 miles

the M20 is not a performance engine and is very hard to tune period.

BMW's own 325i race cars could only make 240bhp on a 2.5 lump in race spec form.

All this talk of 230bhp 2.7's is bollocks if u ask me! and a 2.6 240bhp?! rubbish man!

Me :duck:

guys ...fair enough, the m20 is pain in the ass to tune, we all know it does not like to be revved up, rockers breaking etc, but i still cannot believe you guys doubt 141 ATW..but all to their own!..and yes the guys name was cliff....so if i told you that a std 325is 2.7 would make 110 ATW? from a motor that pushes out 155kw at the fly in std form?

Yes, I've heard of a 333i... damn I've even driven one.

And Rowens car does make that power, it's like telling us that. Another mate of ours car doesn't makes 154kw otw... from a 2.9lt . It's very possible.

So then I'm guessing u guys will say that a 2.9lt can't hammer a E36 M3 3.0lt, and stick with an Evo ? ... Cause I have seen it with my own 2 eyes

my manifold is from cliffs car

the guy is a tit... i was meant to buy his shell but he turned wnet and sold it to some1 else only after saying it was mine and agreeing to a price.....what an idiot

i think mine's 180ish at the wheels..... so rowens must be having about 215-220hp which is very very good....

whats the torque like?

I will agree, but when we go out and play at night, thats when it's fun.

I so can't wait to get my car up and running. Especially after seeing how strong Rowens car is running.

I mean when u drive in it... too me it compares to an E36 M3 the way it pulls

oh yeh a 2.7 will play with a e36 m3 all day long and lamk it look very silly on twisties... as the torque curve means that it punches out of corners so much better than the e36...even on a straight open rd, the e30 will be dead level with e36

The South African 325iS was a 2.7 that was played with by alpina.....we got a couple over in NZ imported.....one was dynoed at 118kw ATW. a lot depends on the dyno (especially rolling roads, they all vary). dynos are really only useful for tuning, not really comparisons. SA had a shit load more e30s.....there are heaps of crazy minters over there!
