Yeah i have one it covers the computer thingie that is in my boot, or at least it is supposed to as it always falls off!!!

mine doesn't have an ecu there!! My dads old D reg 325i auti did though!

That's the cover for the automatic gearbox ECU. If you have a manual car then you won't have this piece of trim.

Yes auto box ECU cover, i will take a picture if i can get it to stay in place long enough!!!
also didnt know what that box was, that raises an interesting question of waht to do with it when i convert the car to manual... a new thread me thinks!
