Dear E30-friends :D I found this website on Google so, I couldn't wait to registrate me!

Let me introduce myself, my name is Kevin, I am 19 years old and I live in Belgium (yep that's far away) I tought by myself, why not registrate myself and get to know some peope from another country, but with the same interest as myself? :D

It began all when I was a little boy, my father is a car-mechanic and driven always an BMW, so it's normal that his son also became a BMW-geek. But there was one car that still stayed in my mind, and that was the E30.. God I love the sound of an 6cyl ! :o

Untill my 17th birthday, my father asked me which car I wanted, his E21 or an E30. It was difficult, because I love the E21 also, but I am more attracted to the E30 so I choose the E30!

It was a 316 (carburator) from 1986 with only 100.000 km's! Untill the day my father called me on the phone and said 'Kevin, next to me there's an black e30 318i cabriolet, want him?' And ofcourse I accepted the offer :D

The car had an accident, so he asked a little bit work. But hey! my father is car-mechanic and I'm a real car geek, so that's the perfect combination isn't it? :D

We gave the car a new side wing, the chassis-frame was changed, the car had a new paint (diamond-black), the complete mechanic was re-newed, suspension, brakes, handbrake, motor parts like a brand new clutch, delco, distribution-belt, cams, etc.. - for tuning, we gave the car M-tech 2 front spoiler, M-tech trunk spoiler, Bilstein sports suspension -3cm and the car stands very hard! Love it :D, Rear clear lights, completely Remus exhaust line, Alpina replica 17 inch wheels, M-accesories inside the car (steering wheel, pedals, shift, ..) this all has a total value of 6000 eur or 5200 pounds..

But it's worth it.. I love my car, and I threat it better as I threat my own girlfriend :D (I have the luck that she is so stupid, that she doesn't speak a word english haha :D)

But enough shit'n'talk, here are my pictures.

Enjoy ;) and give your oppinion, I'm curious!

Nice!
Looks very purposeful. Except those rear lights. Good work on the accident repairs.

@ Baz666 thankyou very much for the info :D

and also thanks for MrLee :D but the M badge stays on the car, I added him on my car :D I don't know why people hate it on the BMW :o the people in Belgium on the E30 forum and BMW forum also hate it, but I think it's a must on the car because M is the heart of BMW, that's my opinion, and then people say to me "But you don't have an M3, it's just a 318i" But my 318i has an M-tech kit and M-accesories inside :D

But that point is just 'the personal choice' you know, nobody has the same taste of opinions, and that's positive I think, cause if everybody is the same, it would be a boring world you know :D

And it's very nice information and very educative how to make my own smoke lights, thanks for the link, I will think about it! ;)

my wife is from Brussels and i know she has good taste, but in UK the //M badge is reserved for the M3 it seems, much like sticking AMG rims on an old Mercedes does not make it an AMG Mercedes,

but then again i have Schnitzers badges on my cab so really screws my argument :o:

enjoy
