If you want to remove your EWS, speed limiter removed, or other stuff, PM me and I will get you in touch with the man who can do this. Not free of charge, but reasonable priced.
Please no enqueries about chipping of E30 engines or 2,7 conversions, can't help with this.

How does he do it?

Not by replicating the signal I take it?

Send your EWS ECU to him. He removes EWS and sends it back.

Is it some sort of computer program he uses to mess with the ECU, or does he open it up and get soldering :)

What sort of price does this cost?

but the EWS can be removed just by using Red label ECU from non EWS car

Not that easy with an M52 engine :)

Its defo a good thing, price outweighs the benefit for me though, 150 euros to remove the EWS and raise the rev limiter

If you really dont want EWS though its a fair price 8)

Exactly what I thought. And having learnt that EWS is not really a big problem for thieves I decided to get rid off it and take other anti theft measures.

Depends entirely on how they want to move your car :)
Not many cars get stolen without keys nowadays anyway
