would they be the same on mpg? also what would be the better car? the e30 m52 b28 or the e36 328i? would the e30 be quicker or would it be even?

Im going to say E30 FTW :cool:

It's lighter and a better drive than the E36, so should be more fun and with the lighter weight, better on fuel too :D

Having had an E30 328i (not running right after 4.5k) and not driving an E36 328i that hard, but having played with a few E36 328i's on the road I would say Off the mark mine pulled harder (due to less weight), and at about 50-70mph mine was even with the E36. Properly set up I would <hope> that a properly set up E30 328i would waste an E36. After 100mph or so I guess the aerodynamics would come into play and the E36 may have an advantage over the E30, and of course the (standard) E36 would be better for handling.

Just stop and think about it for 2 seconds and the answer is obvious, simply due to physics if nothing else
