hey guys, im new to the site and the e30 world!!!

Iv just bought a 325i convertibel in red!!
i love the car and enjoy every minute of driving it.

the one thing im not happy about is the way the car sits.
i want to get the back lower and the front a little bit lower.
iv tried all day today to get the photos up but cant figure out how to do it!!!

iv had a few people look at them but iv had nobody come back with a decent answer. the springs i have on the car at the moment are black, just wondering are these the original springs from bmw, is there a way of telling by just the colour??

somebody triued having a look at the springs to see if anything was written on them but they said they couldnt see, whereas other people have said the car is already on lowering springs!!!!
please help!!!!!

use photobucket, load all onto there, then copy by right click,go back to zone thread and paste. :D
lowering springs are usually not black.,,,,red ,blue, yellow, green,[artermarket] you will need to buy, cabbie or tourer, springs as they are heavier cars than coupe or saloon

If it's good springs you want,go for the Eibach Pro Kit

Mine cost about £140 fom Formula One in Brighton, and it was the best money i ever spent!

They will lower your cab about 35mm at the front and about 25mm at the rear.If you lower it too much at the back you'll wear your tyres out on the inside cos they alter the camber too much, trust me on that one!

They're progressive springs ,so they give more resistance the more they're compressed which means they wont rattle your bones too much during normal driving. My Eibach springs are black, but are written on quite clearly..most other lowering springs are other colours(i've seen red, blue and yellow).

When you are ready,i can totally recommend Bilstein B4 shocks..they'll finish the job off nicely :D
